Cornell DanceSport is a competitive Ballroom and Latin dance team. The team represents Cornell University at a number of events in both the collegiate and amateur divisions. The team is always willing to provide performers or teachers for events on Cornell's campus and in the Ithaca area. New England DanceSport Championships

Two couples from Cornell DanceSport represented the team at the New England DanceSport Championships over thee weekend in Waltham, MA. François Hébert and Susanna Kohler best result was placing 3rd in Novice International Standard by taking 3rd in every dance. They also competed in the Prechampionship level and placed 10th. Alum Competes At Blackpool

Cornell DanceSport alumnus, Cleo Poleman competed at the UK DanceSport Championships in Blackpool, England. Blackpool, as its often referred, is widely regarded as the most prestigious ballroom competition. To the best of our knowledge, Cleo who graduated in 2012 is the first alum to compete in the festival. We wish her and her current partner Andy Weeranitikun the best of luck.

Competition Season Wraps Up With MIT

Cornell DanceSport's competition season wrapped up last weekend at the MIT Open in Cambridge, MA. The MIT Open is one of the largest ballroom competitions in the world and features collegiate dancers from all over the United States.
