About Us
Cornell DanceSport is a competitive Ballroom and Latin dance team. The team represents Cornell University at a number of events in both the collegiate and amateur divisions.
The team is always willing to provide performers or teachers for events on Cornell’s campus and in the Ithaca area. Just send us an inquiry!
The DanceSport team focuses on the following styles and their dances:
- International Standard: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep.
- International Latin: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive.
- American Smooth: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, and Viennese Waltz.
- American Rhythm: Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Bolero, and Swing.
